Yeahhhhh!!!!!! Today
was the last class I taught!!!! =) I was worried yesterday because I didn´t
know what activities I could do. But I prepared some activities and thanks God
they worked.
I did a warm up and the students felt good playing
and they cooperated well with the activity. Then, I gave a copy with some
sentences which the students had to develop a task and they did it very good.
After that activity, I asked the students to work
in small groups and I gave them some situations which they had to talk and give
opinions using the structure they studied the previous class. I felt king of
bored because I was just monitoring but the students worked.
At the feedback, the teacher told me that he liked
that class… =O He told me that I gave enough time for the activities and the
students did well. =) It was a nice class, thanks God it was the last one!!!!!
Hello Estelita!!! You finally did it. I am glad to know that finally you could accomplished your goal of teaching a class that was enjoyable for you, your tutor and principally for your students. I could noticed that you are an excellent teacher because of the way you manage the group. You stand in front of a classroom as a real professional. I admire you and I a sure you will be an excellent professional. Never loose your nice attitude toward bad situations!!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats! you finished! The important thing is that you learned a lot (I guess) well, I´m sure we all have learned a lot from this practice. If you consider all your teaching experiences you will see that you have improved.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations! you are done with your first teaching practicum. I know you learned a lot from the students and the tutors. Next semester you have to continue learning and growing as a teacher.
