a new beginning...!! =)

Well, yesterday was my first teaching in this second period. I am teching basic and let me tell you that yesterday I really love the class. I did different activities and I tried to have the students working and having a good time. I arrived early and I did the arragement of the desk in semi-circle. Then, I began with a warm up. After, I developed the class and the students were participaing, getting involved, and they were learning at the same time. I prepared the activities and thanks God they were meaningful for the students. To be sincere, I really enjoyed the class. =) At the end, it was the time for my feedback, and my tutor teacher told me that she really liked the warm up that I did. She liked the activities I did with the class. But also, she told me that I had some little mistakes when I was talking. 

She told me that she liked the material I used for the activities and that she will take some ideas of them...hehehe...! Finally, I got a GOOD grade...!! and I hope I continue this way...!!! So, we can do it people....!!!! we can!!!! =)

Ways to use blogs...!!! =)

We can use blogs for educational purposes. For example, as teachers, we can use blogs to reflect about our teaching experiences, also to describe which activities worked well and the ones that didn´t work in the class. Another way we can use blogs is to encourage your students to write journals. Also, we can write questions and then, ask the students to give their points of view and/or opinions. 

 

Another important point is that we can encourage our students to create their own blogs. They can use their blogs to write their journals, to formulate questions and create a semi discussion of it, to share their experiences from the class, etc.

 

Blogs are very useful if we use them as a resource which we are going to help our students in their learning process. Now that technology is very advanced, we as teachers have to take advantage of that technology and use it for educational purposes.
